Ashbourne is a family church with a welcome and range of activities for all ages.
We are currently nearing the end of an ambitious scheme to renew our premises, upgrading them and joining them together - hence the name: ‘The Link Project’. More details are available on The Link Project page.
We are delighted that we will soon be returning to our building in the town centre, after significant building work over the last 2 years. The building will be fully open in late May, but from 19th April we will be holding our morning worship services in Trinity Hall at Ashbourne Methodist Church. For the first few weeks, we won't have access to all parts of the building, and we won't have all of our new equipment & furniture. So come expecting joy at being back in our building, but also expecting that things won't be perfect!
Our church was founded over a hundred years ago and as time passes we change and develop – but always seeking to do what God wants.
The current church was built in 1880, with school rooms beneath - now used as visitor accommodation. The Century Hall and Waterside Hall were added in 1900, with both in regular use by the church and local community groups. The Cornerstone, originally built in 1902, is now run as a coffee shop.
Follow Ashbourne Methodist Church on Facebook - you can keep up to date and your friends will also find out about our events!
Rooms and halls are available to hire. Please visit The Link Centre website for more details.
