Update: A great start

Update 5th December 2024

We've been making good progress with The Link Project.

The building has been emptied and keys handed over to contractors. As part of this process, we've carefully wrapped the organ, to protect it during the works.

The prefab hut by the Henmore Brook has been removed, This hut was intended to be temporary when it was installed in the 1940s, so it had lasted a bit longer than expected!

Excitingly, a gap has been cut in the wall & railings. This will be the way into the new Link Centre.

And we also had a visit from Derbyshire Fire & Rescue Service who were on a training exercise and filled the plastic traffic barriers with water from their tender.

All of the work is part of Ashbourne Reborn - you can find out more about the programme at www.ashbournereborn.co.uk
