Cornerstone Coffee House

Back in the 1990s, our church had a vision of opening The Cornerstone building to serve refreshments to the community and to share God’s love. The Cornerstone Coffee Shop was opened in May 1998, and the church has welcomed thousands of people since.

Since 2022, The Cornerstone Coffee House has been leased to Beth & Paul (daughter & dad) who run the coffee shop with help from a dedicated team of staff & volunteers.

Cornerstone Coffee House is open 8.30am-4pm Tuesday – Saturday with a great range of food & drink available. For reservations, call 07779 241087

As part of the redevelopment major transformation of the Methodist Church site, work is being done in Cornerstone and whilst this takes place the coffee shop will move into the Methodist Church building next door. The move should happen in July, with a return to the Cornerstone building in November, although this is dependent on the building works. The temporary arrangement will be accessible by steps and a ramp, and a kitchen will be built in the Church, meaning that the Cornestone will be serving the same menu as currently. There will be plenty of space and Paul & Beth hope that all the groups who meet at Cornerstone will also find this a good temporary home.
